Brought to market by Roy Weatherby in 1945 the 300 WBY was said to be 50 years ahead of its time. The 300 WBY is an ultra versatile 30 caliber option that is great for a variety of hunting situations.
The InterLock® features an exposed lead tip for controlled expansion and hard-hitting terminal performance. A secant ogive design — one of the most ballistically efficient profiles ever developed. The raised ring inside the jacket is embedded in the bullet, combined with the one-piece core, keeps the core and jacket locked together during expansion to retain mass and energy.
